Holy Strawberries
All is well in La Selva Beach, California, especially if you like strawberries. While the broccolini, shallots, radicchios and lettuces slowly inch towards the sun, the strawberries are booming. The plants are loaded with beautiful, deep red fruit. It’s time to make strawberry jam!

I bought a flat of strawberries from Stella today at the Westside Market. The smaller elongated variety, in the process of making jam and would like to know the variety… Completely delicious! Will buy another flat next week!
those conical shaped strawberries with an almost tropical/mango flavor are albion. we are growing a mix berries and we do not lable them on the table so ask if you prefere albion. thanks, joe
